Just a random afternoon.

The boys and I went to the Bass Pro Shop today after I picked up Ryan from Preschool. He enjoys looking at the fish and animals. When we got home in his room he said "Mama, did you vaccum my floor?" I said "yes" and he said "you cleaned it all up?" I said "yep." Then he said "that sure is being a good mama!" Glad to know he thinks so....

Happy Easter 2009!

Easter was kind of quiet this year. We just celebrated at home. We kept Ryan's class at church for Extended care. It was a joy hearing their take on Easter. After church we went out to eat at the Chinese Restaurant...it was Ryan's pick. Then we came home and gave him his bike and then after a nap we hunted eggs.
Thank you Lord Jesus for giving your life on the cross so that we might have life everlasting!

Hunting eggs in the backyard.

We surprised him with a bike after church.

If you look in the doorway you can see Ryan surprised that the Easter Bunny came.

This is how Aiden liked to do Easter.

Some of my favorite black and white photos...

First Tball Game...as Ryan would say "For Real"

I'm not sure they have enough fans.

Ryan was the first to hit in the game. He made it to first base the first hit!
Ryan is actually left handed but he just picked up the bat this way.

Ryan's number one fans...
Good game guys! We won! Even though score is not officially kept, we kept score and we won!

March trip to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, TN

What trip is complete without a trip to a souvenir shop?

Christmas village..you just have to see it.

A little power ranger action

Gatlinburg aquarium and other sites

If you haven't been to the Gatlinburg Aquarium, it is a must see. Most of the aquarium is inside these tunnels and the fish are swimming all around you. The shark are so cool.

This was the underbelly of the sawfish shark inside the tunnel.

We ate blueberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, and a ham & egg omlete at the Log Cabin Pancake House... for supper. Yum, yum!

Cousin Brady's 7th birthday

March Trip to Georgia

We had to wait until Scott got off work on Friday to make our trip to Georgia. When Ryan found out we were going to Grandaddy and Gigi's house he packed his spiderman bag full of toys and was ready to go! We went to celebrate Scott's Grandaddy's 90th birthday and his Granny's 86th. We went up to his Uncle Ray and Aunt Martha's house on Lake Burton. It was stunning. Below is a view from the balcony.
